Since we still don’t seem to be going too many places or have a lot of reasons to get dressed up with a full face of makeup, my purchases and recommendations are more skincare focused. I’ve also really been trying to go with more clean beauty/skincare picks. I’ve put together a list of my top recommendations and the items I’m picking up.
Makeup
Make Up Forever Ultra HD foundation – my favorite foundation. Great coverage, natural finish and great wear time.
Gucci Mascara L’Obscur – SUCH a good mascara! New purchase for me this year but I love the length and volume this gives my lashes!!
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder – I’ve spoken about this powder before, it truly is the most beautiful, light powder that gives skin an airbrushed look. Can’t recommend enough!
Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer – I love this concealer, I’ve been using this more and more instead of my old Tarth Shape Tape. I find this has great coverage but it much more hydrating under my eyes! This is a new favorite.
Skincare
Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Eye Serum – this is the only eye cream/serum that I find actually makes a difference in my fine lines and under eye circles. Plus I love that this is a clean skincare product.
Drunk Elephant Marula Face Oil – love this oil, it’s clean, hydrating and calming on my skin. This is my last step in my nighttime routine and I press into my skin after applying other serums abs retinol. This probably my third bottle I’ve purchased.
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution – this face mask treatment is a little intense but is truly so good. It helps so much with breakouts, fine lines and helps with uneven skin texture.
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm – I still love the Laneige Lip mask but wanted a clean product. I love this lip balm! It smells great and it’s super hydrating. I use at night time for soft lips in the morning. Some people complain about the packaging but I haven’t had any problems!
Drunk Elephant T.L.C Framboos and A-Passioni Retinol these are both in my night time routine. I alternate these about every other night as my serum/treatment followed by moisturizer.
Tools
Beautybio Glo Pro Microneedling Tool – this is a recent purchase of mine and I’ve been loving it! It’s like an at home microneedling session. I use this 2-3 times per week at night to help and my skincare products work most effectively. This would be an amazing gift for Christmas.
Artis Elite Oval 7 Brush – this brush is amazing! I use this for to buff in my foundation and it gives the most beautiful result. This brush allows you to use less product and makes applying foundation so quick and easy!!
Hair & Body
Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo – I love this shampoo. It really clean my hair and doesn’t dry it out. I find this to be really nice on my highlighted hair and like that it really lathers up! I’m not a huge fan of the conditioner, but the shampoo is a must have, repurchase for me!
GHD Curve 1″ Classic Curl Iron – this iron is amazing, really hold a curl and can be used as a traditional curling iron, or you can warp hair around and use like a wand. I love how quick this heats up and this works great for both shorter and longer hairstyles!
Necessaire The Body Wash and The Body Lotion – I love this line of products. This was a new purchase for me this year and can safely say, I’m obsessed. These are clean products and offer a spa like experience.
