April was an amazing month full of friends, family, vacations and lots of fun. I am so grateful for the amazing experiences, wonderful people, and memories created. Instead of a normal beauty favorites I want to share my favorite memories, moments and more. We live such busy, hectic lives — one thing happens and then we are on to the next, no time to soak it up and enjoy. I thought this would be a great way to reflect and remind me of all the amazing things in my life. Comment down below on your favorite memories this month!
Easter
April 1st was so fun as it was Easter and I got to spend the day with some of my favorite people. These cuties are so fun to watch hunting for eggs and enjoying the candy. Bryan cooked an amazing dinner and it made me so happy to spend the day with my sister, Grant, kiddos, Bryan and Jarron. So many things to be thankful for.

Vacation
Next was a much needed and amazing vacation to Hawaii. Bryan and i are not the best planners but we got our act together and made it to the Big Island for 6 days. It was full of sun, relaxation, food and fun. We had both been (and are) so busy with work it was nice to spend time together, unplugged and unscheduled.

Theater
April also took Bryan and I back to the Denver Performing Arts Center for two amazing musicals! We were lucky enough to get season tickets to the Broadway series this year and it has truly been one of the best things I’ve ever done. We have had so much fun experiencing all the amazing shows. This month we saw Aladdin and First Date. I am a huge fan of the Disney productions, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King are two of the most amazing shows i’ve ever seen and Aladdin didn’t disappoint. Everything was beautiful, the singing amazing and the Genie was spectacular! We also saw First Date which was so funny, totally inappropriate and one of my favorite shows of the season.
Birthdays
Two of my favorite people celebrated birthdays in April, my sister and Bryan. We celebrated Bryan’s birthday with family and friends – laughing and drinking too much! For my sister, we celebrated a little early and my mom came to town. We played in the rain, got pedicures and had an amazing meal together. Another year older looks great on both of them!
Fans
I have really gotten into watching hockey this year, specifically the Colorado Avalanche. Bryan and I found ourselves watching lots of games this season and really enjoying it. The Avs made the playoff this year for the first time in four years. Bryan and I lucked out and had the opportunity to go to Game 4 of the series. Unfortunately the Avs lost but it was so fun to attend and cheer them on in person.
Buys
Lastly I found some cute new clothing, shoe and beauty products this month. These wedges are beyond comfortable and so cute (size up half a size). I also found the cutest swim cover-up for our trip, totally beachy and relaxed! Finally, I have a new highlighter in my routine that is going to be on rotation all summer!
