This month has been so busy! I am finally getting the hang of my new job, I’ve had concerts, birthday parties to attend, work travel and some clear outs of my makeup collection and wardrobe. A busy month means I haven’t been trying as many new beauty items. I have been shopping my own stash and found some of my old favorites plus a couple new things.
- Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ in Lazy Sunday Morning is a beautiful scent for warmer weather. This has floral notes of lily of the valley, patchouli, iris, and a slightly deeper scent of white musk. This line of fragrance is supposed to replicate moments and illicit memory. I find this to have great staying power and can still detect a light scent at the end of the day. Also, can we talk about how beautiful the bottle is?
2. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Face Sculpt & Highlight is the perfect product for traveling as you get two stars in one palette! I love the bronzer to add color all over my face or to place in the hollows of my cheeks to get those cheekbones to be extra 🙂 On the other side of this palette is a stunning highlighter. I use a very light hand with this as it gives off some major glow!
3. MAC Warm Soul blush is an oldie but a goodie. It adds a pretty peachy pink/beige glow to the cheeks and mimics a nice summer tan if I take it up a little higher on my cheekbones. This was the first blush I ever purchased from MAC. This will always be in my makeup collection and I am so glad I cracked it out this month.
4. IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination is one of my top foundation/base products…ever. This has the most amazing coverage, skin care benefits, and it keeps the skin glowy and hydrated all day but does not settle in any fine lines. I love that it has SPF 50.
5. IT Cosmetics Confidence in an Eye Cream is new to my collection and I am so glad I purchased. I haven’t found an eye cream I love in a long time but this keeps my undereyes hydrated, makeup wears perfectly over it and it helps reduce my dark circles. Perfecto!
6. Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette is probably on every bloggers favorite list this month. This is the newest release in the Naked eye shadow palette lines. I am such a sucker for warm tones and this palette has all of them! I have used these shadows every day for the last 3 weeks. I would highly recommend this makes its way into your collection!
