New in: Sephora Haul

How about a little mid-week pick me up!? Who doesn’t love new beauty bits? First, let me say, I know I have a ton of products.  All my family and friends think I’m ridiculous. However, some people collect baseball cards or beanie babies — I collect makeup!

Now, I haven’t shopped at Sephora in over three months.  That’s like 7 years in my time continuum.  I have been using up all my products and shopping my own stash lately.  I also recently did a big purge of old products, items that were past expiration date, or things I knew I would’t use.  So, after all that time and all that cleaning up, I thought it was time to browse the magical aisles of Sephora again.  I didn’t go crazy, but I wanted to share three new things I’ve picked up (and am totally in love with already).

Bumble and Bumble Bb. Pret-a-Powder Tres Invisible Dry Shampoo — I love Bumble and Bumble, they are one of my go to hair brands. I love the original pret-a-powder texturizer for adding grit and volume to my hair. However, I was in the market for a new dry shampoo and saw this was a new release.  I have fine hair that lays very flat against my head, this spray adds great texture, helps keep my curls in, and absorbs excess oil. I use this on freshly washed hair or on 2 and 3 day old hair to refresh my do.  This is definitely something I would repurchase.  The only con is that I think I will go through it quite quickly, as is with most aerosol sprays.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Scandalust— I’m pretty loyal to my Mac eyeshadow palette’s and have been for many years.  However, I saw this beauty and knew I had to have her.  These shades are right up my street. I love playing with warm browns and reds to contrast my blue eyes. Marc Jacobs reformulated all their eyeshadows at the end of 2017 and must say they did an amazing job! These are so pigmented, very blendable, and they are not patchy at all. I see this sticking around in my everyday makeup routine, especially as we inch closer to spring.

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in S1NGLE — This is the most beautiful pinky, brown nude lipstick and definitely a perfect color to transition into spring/summer.  Generally, I am very hesitant to try matte lip prodcuts as I find they dry out my lips and don’t wear well on me.  This however, is amazing, it is beyond pigmented and super creamy. I don’t find that it dries me out at all. I am so tempted to buy a few more shades, but this will do for now!

I hope you enjoyed checking out my shopping bag and what is new to my collection.  There are so many amazing launches for spring and summer that I would love to get my hands on; I am trying to resist (I can do it).

Happy shopping. I’d love to know what your favorite new purchase is!
