Spring is finally here! The sun is staying up longer and longer and I’ve managed to sneak in a couple of glasses of wine on the patio already. With the warmer weather comes lighter layers, more color (based on my interpretation of color) and a few new pieces to my wardrobe for the new season. Have a read below to see the newest additions and what I’ll be wearing over the next several months.
| Lightened up leather | I snagged this gorgeous leather jacket on major sale. If you know me, you know I live in my black leather jacket so I was looking for something a bit lighter to transition into the new season.
| Light shirts in patterns and pastel | Madewell and Loft are both having a moment for me right now. I am loving all their tops currently and have picked up these three for spring. I particularly love the pastel colors and the cute checked print. The stiped tee is super comfortable and flattering.
| The perfect trench | This was a blogger inspired purchase from Life by Lee and it was another great sale find. it is the most beautiful cut and the fabric is so nice, especially for the price point. This is great for both spring and fall! I’ve worn it loads already and get so many compliments on it.
| Denim shorts | I am not a big shorts wearer but I found these from Nordstrom and love the slightly longer fit and higher waist. They have some distressing but nothing obscene. Cute with sandals or booties for the cooler days.
| Sandals | I recently cleared out all my old sandals and found that I had about one pair that I would wear. I decided to pick up a cute pair of flat sandals that will go with everything. I love the touch of metallic.
| Retro Sunnies | I love the retro sunglasses look and these round aviators in pink are the perfect pair for the season.
| The prefect bag in the perfect color | This last item is a total splurge and something i have been saving for. I have followed the brand Strathberry for years and always adored their style and design. There is something minimally classic and chic about their line of bags. When one of my favorite bloggers released a collaboration with them, it pushed me over the edge to buy. This is the most gorgeous bag for spring, summer, fall, winter – whenever! I will be wearing this on repeat. Full review coming soon!
