What to Wear: Easter 2016

The weather is getting warmer here in Denver, CO and Easter is just around the corner. Moving into the new season makes me take a look at my wardrobe and decide what’s missing. Let’s be honest, I don’t need anything new but this sunshine and blue sky is inspiring which is why I’ve rounded up for you my top picks for a perfect Easter outfit! Being in Colorado, we are never sure how the weather will swing from one day to the next–especially in March. I’ve compiled a few outfit inspirations no matter your weather. I may or may not have purchased one of these for my own Easter festivities, to be spent here in Denver with family and friends!

Gap Jumpsuit
First up is this versatile jumpsuit from Gap. Not only will this work in spring and summer, it’s at an affordable price. I love this paired with a leather moto jacket on top. This is a top pick for those who may have weather to contend with!  If you are really feeling the chill of winter still, try pairing with a pair of booties and oversized scarf.

Astr Dress
Free People Floral

Next up are three gorgeous dress options. My first pick is the perfect spring shade of pinky-coral. This Vesper Midi pencil dress is a great pick for Easter. The higher neck and half-length sleeves makes this conservative enough for church and also transitional for work or spring and summer weddings. Second up is cream shift from Nordstrom. This is actually my pick for Easter. I’ll be wearing this dress with tights, brown boots and simple accessories. As I am not 6 feet tall like our model here, the length is just right for me to wear in the warmer months with bear legs and flats. Finally, in the dress department is one I am lusting over! This floral maxi is from Free People. This is a great option for those who live in the balmy, tropical areas-can you feel the jealousy oozing from my words? I digress, this is a perfect choice with a cardigan over if you prefer to be a bit more covered up or bare arms for Easter Egg hunts, mimosas, and spring parties.

BR Pant
My last pick hits on the classic side. This pant/shirt combination is simple, elegant, but still fun with the lace up heels! I love the look of a classic trench and I’m still on the hunt for the perfect one for my closet. This outfit is right up my alley as pants and a button-down shirt are a staple in my day-to-day wardrobe. If this were my pick for Easter I envision my hair up, colorful earrings, and a simple clutch.

I hope you enjoyed my picks for Easter 2016! I’d love to see yours and what you are lusting after as we move towards spring.
